Motorsport Castrol EDGE can go the distance
The Nürburgring 24 hour endurance race is one of the toughest around, so of course BMW chose one of the toughest oils for the job*. Each lap of this gruelling race is 25km long and with a testing mix of blind high speed bends, banked corners and lightning fast straights, it can take cars to the brink. And we’re really proud to say a BMW GT4s with Castrol EDGE in its engine came a very respectable 2nd out of 200 cars.
But it wasn’t just a test of endurance for the cars. We took four lucky motorsport enthusiasts to watch the whole thing and camped next to the track for 72 hours and we loved every minute. Check out the video and have a look at the pictures...
